Executing inline powrshell script

Fri Apr 16, 2021 12:05 pm

In the installer, we have inline PowerShell scripts. Now our company introduced some new policies and installers are restricted and PowerShell scripts are not executed. Antivirus is detecting and blocking. Is it possible to change the execution path for the inline script not to be executed in the temp folder (to configure some other location that from AntiVir is permitted)? Any suggestion how to avoid this? It's somehow configurable from advanced instaler. Installer is digitaly signed?

Hello,

We already have on our TODO list an improvement regarding this behavior.

Unfortunately, for now, I'm afraid I am not aware of any workaround for this.

Best regards,

Hello,

Yes, unfortunately the behavior is the same even when signing the script.

I will update this thread once the improvement will be added to Advanced Installer.
