Building MSIX from Command Line in quiet mode

Tue Apr 20, 2021 6:43 am

Hi there
I am using the trial version of Advanced Installer and have built an MSIX installer for our application using your GUI.
I would like to have the build done of the project from a batch file without any user Advanced Installer GUI being displayed but I cannot seem get this to work as it always displays the Advanced Installer GUI and is not building.
Is this possible?
Currently my batch file looks like this
AdvancedInstaller.com /build "C:\Temp\AdvancedInstaller\2021_04_20\Ramesys.aip"

Thanks in advance
Geoff

Hello Geoff and welcome to our forums,

Yes, this should be possible.

I have run few tests on my end and this worked as expected. The command you are using is also correct.

Building from command line
I cannot seem get this to work as it always displays the Advanced Installer GUI and is not building.
Could you please give me some more details about this (perhaps few screenshots would help)? Are you receiving any messages regarding the trial period?

Best regards,
Catalin

Hi Catalin
Thanks for the reply.
It seems to be OK now, don't really have an explanation for why it was not previously working.

Thanks again
Geoff
