HKEY_CURRENT_USER or not

Hey

I have set up some registry keys in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/MyApp

I need the keys to be use specific hence the hive in use but when i install and then log off / change user, the keys are the same and not user specific. Do i need to be using a different registry hive or change a setting to make them user specific?

I'm afraid I am not quite sure I fully understand your problem here.

Could you please give me some more details?

For instance, is the issue the fact that after the installation the registry entries are not copied under HKEY_CURRENT_USER?
