Quick launch shortcut not visible

Hi,

My installer sets a quick launch shortcut to my application. It works on all OSes except on Windows Server 2019. Why is this? Is this a bug in AI or does it need to be created differently?

Hello Jan,

I have tested this and indeed, you are right, the shortcut is not pinned to the taskbar after the installation on a Windows Server 2019.

We will further investigate this on our end and as soon as I will come to a conclusion, I will let you know.

We have further investigated this but we were unable to find the root cause of this problem.

Unfortunately, I am afraid I can not tell, as for this moment, if this will be fixed in the coming AI release, since we were not able to find the root cause of this.

However, I will update this thread as soon as we find the root cause of this and as soon as there will be a fix available. Thank you for your understanding.
