Browse dialog not working after AI upgrade

I have an AIP built with version 18.7. After upgrading this to version 21.9 the Browse dialog no longer works.

The installation includes a dialog with 3 folder options selectable by radio buttons. The first 2 options use specific folder paths and the 3rd option is custom settable via a Browse button. The default is the first option, the custom option is the 3rd option.

With 18.7, during installation, I can select the the custom option, and select a folder via the Browse button. The selected folder is shown in the custom folder path. This has been working successfully for several years.

After upgrading AI to 21.9, the behaviour has changed. I can select the folder using the Browse button but on return t the parent dialog the folder is not set and the radio button selection reverts to the first option. The same happened when upgrading to 21.6.

The upgrade has made a lot of changes to the AIP file but I don't see anything relating to the dialogs.

I can provide the AIP files used for 18.7 and 21.9 if required
