Upgrade from version 5.1.1
We currently have a license for version 5.1.1 and are considering upgrading. The maintenance plan has of course lapsed long ago. I'm wondering how difficult it will be to convert our old project files to the new version. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I went ahead and upgraded to 8.3. The AIP file seemed to pull into the new version fine. However the installer now crashes on Win7 64-bit. I've added to another post that looks like it may be the same issue.

Hi,
As we have discussed in our e-mails this is caused by a new bug discovered in the conversion process of the projects, thank you for bringing it to our attention.
A fix will be available as soon as possible, until then the solution is to delete the prerequisites, save the project, and then add them back manually, not using copy-paste options.
