can you hide a command window when running a custom action?

Hi There,

I'm running 2 types of custom actions - in one case, a simply command line application, the other a batch file that performs more complex work. However, each time the action runs, it flashes up (albeit briefly) a command window. Is there any way to prevent this, or at least have the command window run minimised?

Thanks,
Brian

Brian,

when you search for "hide" on this forum you'll eventually get to a few posts on that.

Also note the documentation for WScript.Shell.Run().
