Installer won't startup...help

I have a German customer using XP, and when he goes to run the installer i provided it does nothing except maybe a quick hourglass and that's it. I instructed him how to create a log file using the /L*V but it does not create a log file. So it's not even getting as far to run the windows installer. Any ideas on what could cause this behavior? I'm told there is no antivirus software running. Firewall? I'm just out of ideas. The older installers seem to work but my newer one don't and nothing has changed within the .aip file that I know of. Any help would be great appreciated.

Hi Kevin,

Can you please specify the exact command line your customer is using to generate a log. Even if the installation somehow crashes silently, a log should still be created. How about the Event Viewer? Is there something mentioned there?
