Create a "trial" version installer/Put shortcut on

Many new software packages offer trial (time bomb) versions that expire after 21 or 30 days. These versions are either the full program that must be registered to eliminate the expiration or true trials that simply expire.

Also, I understand now that the installer can create desktop shortcuts. Can the installer also write a shortcut to Windows Task bar?

Hi Stewart,

But the installer is only called at install time, not later. So how can it expire the product? Maybe this is a good idea for AdvInst for Java though.
