Need help creating Transformation Pack for XP

Hi Members!

I am thinking to create a transformation pack for windows xp sp3.

Everything is going ok but i want to know some thing.

I have these modded files with me-
Shell32.dll
Msgina.dll
Mydocs.dll
Explorer.exe
logonui.exe
sysdm.cpl

explorer.exe is located in "Windows" Folder. Rest all are in "System32" Folder.

I want to build an installer that can automatically replace all these files in their respective directories (Or just patch them).

I read this tutorial somewhere but i want fully detailed tutorial as i am a newbie to such things.

Can anyone plaese help me.
Thanks in advance. :?:
I have full version Advanced Installer V8.

Re: Need help creating Transformation Pack for XP

Hi,

Have you tried creating a simple package that just places the files in the corespondent folders from Files and Folders page?
After installing this package the OS should prompt you for a restart in order to complete the replace operation as some of the files will be use during the install,
for example "explorer.exe" will surely be running.
