On the finish dialog I'd like to give the user the option to add one shortcut to the startup folder. The installer creates 4 shortcuts and only 1 needs to go in the startup folder, the shortcutsdlg appears to apply to all shortcuts. go to administrative tools, component services, drill in - computers, my computers, com + applications, right click on any component, select properties, click on the identity tab

Hi Cosmin

this didn't really work either. It looks correct in the UI but what I browse the page I get an odd error message. I then changed to the 2.0 framework, exited, changed back to 4.0.. in the UI and the page worked

it's also needed on the virtual directory tab - asp.net version - is there a work around other then setting this manually after the install?

I have an IIS application that accesses a COM + Application. Can the advanced installer install the COM + application? I'd like to set the general, security, identity, activation .... settings during the install

Windows keeps saying the software is already installed even though I changed everything I can find. Do I have to create a new AIP file for each new project?
