I download and install the most recent, version 10.7.1, and build a package with it. When I run this in...

Mutually exclusive products

I have three products that are mutually exclusive. Is there a way that I can build an install for one product that will automatically uninstall either of the other two products if they had previously been installed?

The problem I'm encountering is that I can't create the same association for both install flavors. I can create a file association for file type .xyz to the 64...

Correct icon does not always show up on install URL shortcut

I have an package that installs a URL shortcut to the Desktop. I have specified a custom icon but it does not consistently appear. On some installs it does, othertimes the default web icon is used instead!!!

How can I get around the problem?

How to run custom action as admin (elevated) under Win 7

My install package installs a service which supersedes another service that I need to stop and disable. I have an entry point in a DLL that does this quite well (stop and disable a service) when run as administrator. I can't figure out how to get Advanced Installer 7.3.1 to invoked my DLL function e...
