Adding Files & Folders to an existing instalation

Greetings-- Using Professional 8.1 build 34480. We want to send users, who already have installed our software, one file and one folder to add to their existing installed Application folder. We don't want to add a new app. What is the best way to add the following? -- one file that will overwrite an...

Editing Text on a Dialog

Hi,
Is it possible to edit the text on Welcome or Exit Dialog with Pro version?

If not, we could do a work-around on the Welcome Dialog by putting the information in the ReadmeDlg. for the ExitDialog, is there a way to add a Readme before it?

Thank you,
Patricia

To create the installer for existing users is a bit more of challenge. The one we are working on now is copy and move files. The User Guide gives Fil...

Run two .exe's before final launch

Hi, Leading up to the final launch of our main application, we want the installer to run first one .exe, then receive a message back when this .exe finishes. Upon receipt of this message, then the installer should run the 2nd .exe. This .exe would then send a message to the installer to finish up, i...

Install as User

My installer requires that the person running it be logged in as Admin. Is there any way to have the installer run from a User account? This part is working: if Admin installs and then logs out, the User account can open.
