I'm writing to request a new feature which would improve the Merge Module selection of Advanced Installer. Currently when wanting to add a merge module, we have to select a folder where the merge modules are located and select each merge module. Only after it's selected and added to the project, does it show information on that merge module.
I would like to request that the window for selecting merge modules scans the selected folder for merge modules and shows them in a list (with check boxes next to each one). The list would show the description, version, and possibly even the files in the merge module (similar to Installshield Express X). Then a user just needs to check the merge modules they want to include with their setup.
I think this would make it easier for selecting merge modules.
