Importing MSM's that don't seem to be complete

I have a program, National Instruments Labview 7.1, that has some MSM files available for their installer. Advanced Installer imports them, however at install it has difficulty extracting the install information from some of the msm files.

I have downloaded some other free installers which are free because you have to do a ton of manual work, but they seemed to show me that the MSM files from National Instruments often reference things like SHAREDNIDIR variable that they must get from the NI installer wrapper.

Is there a way to query the MSM files to see a list of variables it is expecting so I can configure the enviroment of AI to accomidate the variables?

In order to figure out what is the problem we need to make some tests using those MSM files.

Could you please provide a location from where we can download them.
