Allowing multiple file MSI in prerequisite

I had a third party program to install wich came with an already built msi that contained cabs and additional files. When including the msi in the prerequistes the AI built the MSI fine; However, the install crashed saying that it couldn't find the required files. I worked around this by purchasing a program that built an exe from the multiple files. I would like to see this ability in AI. I really like the product and can't wait to see what the future brings.

Hi,

This feature is already on our TODO list and it will most certainly be available in a future release.

Depending on your Prerequisite, it might be possible to avoid wrapping it in a separate EXE, by selecting "Leave install files outside" in the Media page and copying all the required files/folders (keeping the same directory structure) for the Prerequisite program in the same directory where your package is built.

If the above method works, then you can package all the files/folders in a "zip" archive and distribute it.
