Hi,
I to install MSDE with the merge module, i merge all 25 files to merge module. But when i run the installation, he alwayz ask me for the SAPWD. I try to put the argument in the setup.ini , and it still not working.
Well, i dunno where to put the argument to install MSDE merge module.
i need to put those argument : SAPWD , INSTANCENAME= InstanceName SECURITYMODE=SQL

The MSDE "setup.ini" file is read only when you use the "setup.exe" bootstrapper to install MSDE. If you use the merge modules then "SAPWD", "INSTANCENAME" and "SECURITYMODE" must be specified as Properties in the Install Parameters page in Advanced Installer.
Note that there are many bugs related to the MSDE merge modules and thus you should not use them. The recommended approach to distribute MSDE with your application wold be to include it as a Prerequisite. Please see the following post:
