Windows Installer Version

What is the minimum WI version needed to run 1.4?
I had a problem with some older NT PCs and an Advanced Installer created msi file. Simple error message was shown.
Downloading and installing the latest instmsiw.exe from Microsoft cured the problem but I think there are some restrictions regarding WI and OS versions.

Advanced Installer requires Windows Installer 2.0 to run. WI20 comes with Win2k SP4, WinXP and higher. For all the other OSs, you'll need to install it yourself.
