Hi, I just setup my project to support auto update. I don't yet have any updates to install and I just want to test the updater so that it says something like "No updates to install". I have configured it so that I have a shortcut as well as a menu inside my application to launch the updater using the /checknow option. Each time I do that I get an error stating:
"Invalid updates configuration file. The first line of the .INI file should be ";aiu;
So I went ahead and edited my server side updates.ini file to contain the line. However, I get the same result.
Again, I don't have any updates yet and am just preparing for the case when I do. What is the proper configuration on the server for the ini file when there are zero updates. I've looked through the docs but I don't yet see this case.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry for your trouble. I had made an error and my updater.ini was pointing at my public site and it should have been pointing to my test site.
When I fixed that it worked as I expected.
