How to read web.config from Files and Folders while installing

Hi,

I want to access an element in web.config file from the custom action while installing the application to IIS.
and I want to replace the part of web.config file that is created by installer in IIS with the web.config read by custom action at the end of installation.

Please advise.

Hi Raghu,

Why do you need a custom action? You can read an XML fileusing our built-in support.

You can also update the contents of an XML file, using the XML Updates feature.
