Re: Adding custom URI scheme

Hello Martin and welcome to our forums,

Sure, I would be glad to assist you here.

If possible, could you please forward me the following resources:

- a copy of the AIP file

- the name of the app so I can download it from the store

- a test-case to test this

by email at support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can run some tests and further investigate this on our end?

Best regards,
Catalin

Re: Adding custom URI scheme

Hi Catalin,

I managed to solve the issue in the end. In the section Declarations I had windows.protocol in protocols, but it was set to run my apps EXE directly which didn't work because of ai_stub.exe. So I changed it to Use Application default values and now it works fine.

But thank you for your reply anyway.

As I mentioned it would be great to have little bit more information about how ai-stubs work and what properties of the app causes the need for ai_stubs to be used somewhere on the forum or your knowledge base ;)

Thank you and have a nice day.
