Hello,
I'd like to make an installer like the Advanced Installer setup with a prompt to upgrade or install side by side. I've tried the multiple instances and it's not quite working out the way I thought it would and am hoping this would meet what I'm looking for.
Any tips or suggestions how to get started with this?

Hi,
In order to achieve this, you can select the "Allow side by side installs of different product versions" option from the "Upgrades" page, then go in the "Dialogs" page and add the "UpgradeDlg" dialog. During an upgrade that dialog will be displayed to the user, so he can choose to either upgrade the product or install the new version side by side with the one that is already installed.
