Search registry value with InstanceName as path not working

when i run my setup i am saving my settings in registry with path of InstanceName by using [ProductName]

When i do a uppgrade of instance i need to search in the registry for som settings. So i have created search by path "SOFTWARE\Qsys Sverige AB\[ProductName]"!

The problem is that [Productname] in that case no longer representing Instancename instead representing just productname.

In general it is hard to know in application when ProductName = ProductName or when it is ProductName = InstanceName.

Hello Boris,

Can you please provide us a detailed step by step test case we can follow to proper investigate this? Also, please send us the old version and the new version of your AIPs (project file) which replicate this behavior so we can investigate them too.

If you could replicate this into a small buildable sample this will be very useful too.
