Hello again !!
We have an installer that creates one folder in the path selected by user during installation (this folder is not the application folder), if the update don't have this folder in the "Files and Folders" section, the update deletes it and we only need to update the application folder.
How we can avoid this behavior? How can we do to maintain this folder?

Hi Guillermo,
Please keep in mind that this is the normal behavior. During the upgrade the old version with all its resources is removed and the new version is installed.
If you want to create a package that only updates some files, you can create a patch as described in the "Authoring a Windows Installer patch" article.
