Double applications entries in Add/Remove programs

Hi All,

We have Advanced installer Version 12.7.1

We created two custom AIR application package using Advanced installer. The version numbers are 3.0.2 and 6.1.2

We installed 3.0.2 initially and later we upgrade the package with version 6.1.2. Bu t the installer is not removing old application version 3.0.2. We could see both version in the add/remove programs list.

How to resolve the issue.

Hello and welcome to our forums,

This could happen if you did not use the same UpgradeCode for both versions of your setup project. Can you please go to "Product Details" page -> "Product IDs" tab and make sure both projects use the same "UpgradeCode"?

Also, the "ProductCode" should be different. SO, in case you didn't generate a new ProductCode for the new version you should proceed like so from the same "Product IDs" tab.
