adding windows features for windows 2012 R2 and 2016 OS - possible bug report

Hello :)
I have created an installation msi that turns on windows IIS features via Prerequisites screen.
I've checked box on Target Operating System for 2012 R2.
I have added Internet Information Services -> Web Management Tools -> IIS Managment Console Feature.

When i try to add also OS Windows 2016 in target operating system this feature is gone.

When checkout box of Windows 2012 R2 - this feature came back.
Meanings that separately you can install this feature - but when both OS is being checked box you cannot.

i overcomed this by changing aip file manually and added IIS-ManagementConsole.

I am using Advanced Installer 15.3

best wishes,
Catalin

Hello Zemer,

First of all, I am glad that you overcame your issue.

Also, thank you for sharing your solutions. I am sure this will be useful for other users in the future.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of any reason why you wouldn't be able to check both "2012 R2" and "2016" versions of Windows Server when trying to enable the "IIS Management Console" feature.

All the best,
Catalin
