SCCM Instaalation of MSI

I have re-package my MSI and it runs locally. When I deploy it as an application through SCCM the dialog screens do not appear and the PowerShell In-line script to identify and uninstall a previous version fails. However, the application does install.

Should I be using a bat or cmd file to launch the msi?
