Tried to rename the Trial to something different then made the edit in the code with the different name, but when compiled the main application still goes looking for Trial.dll even though the code has been altered and the Trial name in the Trial section has been changed.
Why does this happen?

We apologize for the delay.
I'm not so sure why this happens. As long as you updated your application code to load the new trial DLL filename everything should work.
Could you share with us a small sample (setup project and application binaries and source code) that replicates this behavior? If you cannot disclose here a sample, then you can forward it to us by email to support at advancedinstaller dot com.
