I created an English installer as follows. And when I upgraded my program with the English installer,
Japanese strings appeared as part of Status in the progress bar. Is it possible to display only English?
- I created an installer in Japanese with Advanced Installer ver. 13.5.
Then I upgraded AI to version 15.9, added English as a language as follows, and created an English installer.
- check English in [Translations]-[Language]-[Build Languages].
In Windows Server 2012 in Japanese, I install my old version program with a Japanese installer created by AI ver.13.5,
then upgrade my new version program with an English installer created by AI ver.15.9.
While Installing new one with the English installer, Japanese strings appeared as part of Status in the progress bar.
But, I don't change ActionTexts, so only english strings should be showed.
I would like to know how to show only English status.

Hello and welcome to Advanced Installer forums,
This may happen if you have the "Automatically use the previous version's language if installed. Otherwise" option selected in your project --> "Translations" page.
Could you please make sure that the option mentioned above is not checked in your project?

I checked the setting.
The item was not checked.
I attach my Advanced Installer setting image.
But, I selected "Automatically use system language for installation" .
Is this the cause?
Is there any way to deal with it?

First of all, please accept my apologies for the delayed reply.
On the machine that you are testing, is the Japanese set as the default system language? If so, then this may indeed be the reason why your setup is displayed in Japanese.
Additionally, does your setup display all its strings in Japanese?
Could you please try to set the "Display language selection dialog (for multi-language packages)" options and then, upon installation, choose English from the dialog and let me know the results?
