i'm wondering if there is any documentation of the xml file, used to render the msi installer. My use for the Advanced Installer is the following:
I want to produce installers with an automated process. Therefore i have to produce the buildfile without the gui of the Advanced Installer. After that i want to use the command line build option to create the msi installer package.

Generating the .xml project files used by Advanced Installer is quite difficult, since they are little more than a mapping of the .msi tables and rows into XML. Our product's main task is to create them from user's actions in the UI.
Besides, the xml file format may still change before 1.0. So I don't think what you want is really feasible just yet.
