Auto set Product version using environment variable

Hi,
We have created Bootstrapper exe and currently we are updating the product version mannually. To update it dynamically we created one environment variable and we are trying to read that environment variable and store it in Install parameter. Can you help me out to achieve this requirement.

Hello Akshay,

Unfortunately, I am afraid that is not possible.

You can, however, set the version from a binary (e.g. a .EXE file). To do so, please go to "Product Details" page --> right click on the "Version" field --> "Set version from file".
