Hi,
After installed a patch the folder C:\Windows\Installer\{ProductID}> is deleted
Is it a bug?
(Nota : the icon in the Panel Control is missing).

The fact that the Control Panel icon is missing may indeed be related to that folder, as explained in the following article:
add remove icon goes missing
Unfortunately, I was not quite able to replicate the behavior. Please allow me some more time to investigate this and I will followup once I will have a conclusive answer.
