Hello,

I need the installer to show a message box only during uninstallation and not during an update. How to achieve this?

If you set the message box to only show during uninstall in a custom action, it also shows during an update. Because, during update, the previous version is being removed.

Hello K,

In order to achieve this, you can schedule your custom action to run only on "regular uninstall".

Just click on the "Show upgrade options" blue link under the "Execution Stage Condition" and you can see all the options:
