Uninstall of the main package triggered the installation for MariaDB missing prerequisite

Hello,

I have MariaDB 10.4 required prerequisite in my project. It is installed before Main Package. But I have a bug with the following steps to reproduce:
1. Install Application;
2. Uninstall MariaDB from Control Panel;
3. Uninstall Application.
Actual Result: MariaDB is installed on Application uninstall
Expected Result: MariaDB is not installed on Application uninstall

I use the latest version of AI (20.9.1). And it is written in release notes that this bug is fixed: https://www.advancedinstaller.com/relea ... l#bugfixes

My question is: why does it happen and how to avoid it?

Hello Tanya,

I have news from our development team. It seems that this behavior caused by the condition field being empty in the Installation section.

This also happens if you have the Allow uninstall or Allow maintenance options checked from the Installation tab without having a condition added.

In order to fix this, you can either uncheck these options (Allow uninstall/maintenance) and add the Not Installed condition in the Install section, or add a condition (e.g Not Installed) to all condition fields:
