UI Layout and Display Issues with MSI Package

Hello Advanced Installer Community,

I've encountered a peculiar issue with my MSI package created using Advanced Installer. While the EXE installer works flawlessly, the MSI package displays significant UI problems. The layout appears to be distorted, and there are unexpected blank buttons and other UI elements that are not functioning as intended.

Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the specifics of my situation:

Advanced Installer Version: 21.1
Project Type: Enterprise
Operating System: windows10

I'm attaching screenshots for a better understanding of the issue.

Thank you in advance for your time and help!

Re: UI Layout and Display Issues with MSI Package

Hello Jerry,

Please note that the theme you are using is not compatible with the MSI package type.

The "Surface" theme (really, most themes except the "Classic" ones) require the "Enhancend User Interface" option to be enabled in "Themes" page. This option further requires your project output to be an EXE in the "Builds" page.

Re: UI Layout and Display Issues with MSI Package

Hello Jerry,

Please ignore my last reply as I've just remembered we recently made this available for MSI as well through the "MSI Embedded UI" option.
