Visual Studio 2022 C# Project incompatible

I'm currently setting up a new machine and I have installed the latest version of Advanced Installer. And I have also installed the Advanced Installer extension.
When I try to load an existing project into Visual Studio, Visual Studio tells me that the project is incompatible, and that the application is not installed.
I have tried uninstalling the extension and reinstalling it. I have also tried repair installs on the Advanced Installer application. All to no avail.

I also have the same problem if I try and install into the prerelease version if Visual Studio.

I'm running on Windows 11 Pro Workstation. 64GB ram, Ryzen 9 CPU.

All of a sudden it just started to work.
Might have been the last Visual Studio update.
