Setting permissions on usergroup different languages

Hi,

I am currently having an issue regarding permissions on a local usergroup. The group name is Users, however, it has a different name on a Swedish operating system. When I try to set permissions via the permissions tab the default ACL will not appear under security after installing the msi, only the group that I have given in the permissions tab. I went on and tried to create custom action using a cmd/bat file to set the rights. ACL is correct but the usergroup name once again is the issue here. Even tried using SID but that only works on one computer, which is really random.

Has anyone came across this problem and solved it?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Emil,

In order to achieve what you want you can take a look on our "Folder permissions pb for „Users“ Group on a German syst" which may be helpful for you.

All the best,
