Prompting for four folders

Hello,

I have downloaded the trial version of Advanced Installer and I have been through two tutorials so I am a neophyte!

For the install I am building, I need to prompt for the location of:

1. Location of the executable that is typically installed and shared on a server
2. Location of a key INI file that is typically installed and shared on a server usually in a different location for the executable folder
3. Location of other folders typically installed and shared on a server
4. Local user settings folder

A few questions if I may:

Is there a way to prompt for all four folders on one dialog?
What version of Advanced Installer do I need to do this?
Can someone direct me to documentation where it explains the required steps?

I am also looking for information on the client/server dialog but could not find any reference in the on-line help.

Thank you,

Dave

Re: Prompting for four folders

Hi Dave and welcome to Advanced Installer forum.

Thank you for your interest in Advanced Installer.

In order to achieve what you want you can follow the How to browse for a folder at install time tutorial and create a picker for each folder you specified above. All four pickers can be placed on the same dialog.

To be able to use this feature you need the Enterprise edition of Advanced Installer.

Let us know if it helped, otherwise give us more details about your scenario.
