Application Mappings on IIS 7.x not working

Dear All,

I have added some application mappings like below:

Extension: *.wgx
Script Processor: c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_isapi.dll
Behavior: Script engine (CHECKED state)
Check that file exists (UNCHECKED state)
All HTTP verbs (CHECKED state)

but it does not automatically added into Handler Mapping of IIS 7..

what I missed?

Hello,

I've tested your scenario, using version 9.8 of Advanced Installer, but I cannot reproduce the behavior. Can you reproduce the behavior on multiple clean machines? If so, can you attach a sample which reproduces the behavior or can you give us a detailed step by step test case scenario so we can try to reproduce and investigate the behavior?

Also, please keep in mind that in the "Extension" field you should set a ".wgx" extension string instead of a "*.wgx" string.

I defined application mappings but what I defined does not created in handler mapping of IIS 7..

Can you please send us the .AIP (project file) and a verbose log of the installation to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can investigate them? Also, can you tell us what is your target machine software configuration (i.e. Windows version, service pack, Windows Installer version, OS language, IIS version)?
