Silent MSI

I have several EXE files that either need mouse clicks, or server paths entered, or license keys entered and want to convert all of those to MSIs to deploy through GPO. I have been able to create the MSI with the tutorial but once the msi is ran, I still have to enter in all of the data. I'm new to the software and forum so if there is already a link out there or a post on how to do it, please let me know.

Thanks!

Re: Silent MSI

Hi and welcome to Advanced Installer forums.

Thank you for your interest in Advanced Installer.

Usually, the paths, the keys etc are stored in properties (i.e. Advanced Installer stores the serial number in the PIDKEY property). So, when you deploy your MSI's you can set these properties in the command line (i.e. msiexec.exe package.msi /qn PIDKEY=1234)

You can take a look on our Deploying a MSI through GPO article for more information.

Let us know if this helped, otherwise give us more details about your scenario.

Best regards,
