thank you very much, using the MSIZap utility solved the issue.

Further testing just has shown that this is still not working as expected, i.e. the updater tool is not updated itself when a new setup is available than the version installed:

I'm not sure why this happens. Can you please send us the .AIP (project file) and a verbose log of the installation to support at advancedinstaller dot com, so we can investigate them?

I've just sent the requested email with our porject file and a verbose log of the setup run when the updater tool with a newer version was not launched as expected.
