Setting registry keys before installer runs

Hello All,

I have a question, i need to create some registry keys on a machine before a major upgrade occurs. Is it possible do this in a Custom Action which occurs before installExecute?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Indeed, you can schedule a custom action before the the "InstallExecute" standard action. However, you need to create your own custom action that creates the registry keys you need.
