Update Process Control

Hello,

I need to push updates for my installed desktop applications from Cloud. I will select a specific machine to push update on.
So I want to see something like a status:
Update currently in progress/ Update finished successfully [date time] / Machine is offline.

Also I want to be able to cancel update for a specific machine when it is in progress.

How can I do it using Advanced Installer Updates?

Hi Tanya,

I am afraid we do not have out of the box support for your request. But as a workaround you can call our Updater tool (on your customer machine) within your application code. Have a look on our "Programatically integrate Updater in various applications" article.

However, please note our Updater tool does not have the option to cancel an update process when in progress.
