Issue with "Startup folder" shortcut option

Hi,

I have an issue with getting the "Startup folder" shortcut option to work, more detail:

In the User Interface => Dialogs => MSI Package => First Time Install => ShortcutsDlg section I want to use the Startup Shortcuts folder option so a shortcut is created in the windows startup folder.

So i.e. if I install the software for all users I expected the shortcut to appear in: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp, but no shortcut is created in that location.

Am I misunderstanding how the startup shortcut option works?

More technical info:

• I am using AI version 20.1.1

• I tried running the installer exe as admin and as normal user

• As prerequisite another software is installed, this software is third party (so i dont know which installer is used) but creates a shortcut in the before mentioned folder, so assume the issue has nothing to do with missing rights

I'm not sure why this happens.

Can you please send us the .AIP (setup project) file and a download link for your setup package by email to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can further test and investigate this?
