create exe or msi?

Installing seems to work better if I execute the exe file instead of the msi file directly. Is there a way to combine both into one? Otherwise, do both the exe and msi files need to be downloaded by the user?

Hello and welcome to our forums,

Please note that the EXE is just a bootstrapper over the MSI if you use the "EXE setup (resources inside)" option from the "Builds" page.

That means that the EXE contains the MSI inside of it.
