Add Prerequisites using PowerShell

Hello AI Team,

How do I add .NET Desktop Runtime 7.0.14. x64 as a prerequisite using PowerShell. I looked at PrerequisitesComponent but I don't see any method or property that allows me to do what I can do from the UI.

TIA,
Obay

Re: Add Prerequisites using PowerShell

Hello Obay,

I'm afraid we don't have this support for PowerShell yet.

However, we have it on our TODO list of improvements and hopefully it will be added in a future version of Advanced Installer as more customers have requested this.

Once it will be supported, we will let you know.

You can try using our command line support to add a new prerequisite for your package. For more details, please check the New Prerequisite Option article.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Liviu
