I am working on an installer project that installs and configures IIS. Install is operational. Uninstalling is successful—except on one machine. For some reason, all of the files are left in c:\inetpub\wwwroot after removal. The App Pool and Virtual Dir are deleted. basket random
Is there anyone who has a good tool or process for cleaning these up?
It didn't help that I tried going through the registry and deleting every key that contained the product name, product code, and package code. The fact that they are so full of malware makes me reluctant to utilize any online.
Many thanks!
