I used to be able to sign my files with earlier versions. Now that I have upgraded Advanced Installer the signing is not working , I get an error:
Win32 Error [2148204800]: "No signature was present in the subject. "
I run this through Jenkins and Advanced Installer for signing is configured
This is urgent as i need to release in next day, so any help would be appreciated.
How can i sign my files without getting an error ?

Based on your description, I would say some configurations are wrong.
If possible, could you please forward me the entire build log so I can have a look over it?
Additionally, could you pelase try the following:
- build the setup unsigned
- open a command prompt and run the same command line to sign the package
Note: you should be using the same user account your Jenkins build agent is using
and let me know if that works?

If that gives the same error, then there might be a problem with signtool or the command line you are using.
Unfortunately, I'm afraid I can not assist that much considering my expertise regarding signtool is quite limited.

Please accept my apologies for the delayed reply - we had some days off here due to Orthodox Easter.
What I'm saying is that the signtool is at fault here.
Advanced Installer uses it to sign your files.
If you manually use signtool (outside of Advanced Installer) to sign the MSI and receive the same error, then the problem is not with Advanced Installer (as the signing process was done completely outside of Advanced Installer without any interaction).
What I would advise here is finding a SignTool which can sign your files and then use that in Advanced Installer as a "Custom" SignTool.
