Change PackageName Attribute from the command line?

I'm setting up a nightly build process for our testing efforts.

I've got Advanced Installer running from inside my Ant script, but I'd love to be able to update the name of the destination MSI file from within Ant, so that each night's build doesn't overwrite the previous night's.

Is there any way to edit the PackageName attribute from the command line, short of hacking the .aip file from Perl or something?

Hi,

Thank you for your suggestion. This is a good idea. We will add it to our Todo list.

It will be implemented in a future release.

For now, I am afraid that the only way to do that is by changing the AIP file before build and modifying the PackageName attribute.

Works great except for Java projects with a bundled JRE. The path value I can edit is only the one without a bundled JRE.

Any way I can edit the bundled JRE path from the command line?

Hi,

This will also be implemented in a future release, in addition to other command-line options.
