Hi

I have a dot file which needs to be copied in the word directory where the normal.dot resides. But the location of normal.dot file differs for different versions of word. How can I change the location based on different versions of word. The path of the dot file needs to be specified in the msi file.

For example,

For word 2002 the location is Program Files/Microsoft Office/Office11/1033/

For word 2000 the location is Program Files/Microsoft Office/Office/1033

How can I achieve this using Advanced Installer?

Advanced Installer doesn't have the ability to search for an installed application yet. You can write a custom action that does that though.
